Jacob Volkmann: With WSOF, You Don’t Have to Worry About Getting Cut

“It was like I was never part of the UFC team. With World Series of Fighting, it’s a different feel. I can’t really explain why it’s that way. Just little things here and there, like before my first fight against Lyle Beerbohm, [World Series of Fighting President] Ray Sefo came in and he explained you don’t have to be worried about your job. You need to worry about how to train and you should focus on training only. With World Series of Fighting, you don’t have to worry about getting cut. Job security is a very important thing as a fighter.”
