PBC on ESPN Weigh-in Results: Benavidez, Douglin Cleared to Fight
Premier Boxing Champions returns to ESPN yet again
this week with another evening of fistic fireworks. A super
middleweight showdown between David Benavidez and Denis Douglin
will headline the event, which goes down inside the 2300 Arena in
Philadelphia.
At Thursday’s weigh-ins, both combatants were able to make the 168-pound weight limit. Douglin (20-4, 13 KOs), who hails from nearby New Jersey, came in at 168.8 pounds. Phoenix’s Benavidez (15-0, 14 KOs) came in a little lighter at 167.9 pounds, giving the greenlight to their fight.
The PBC on ESPN card will go live on the cable sports giant beginning at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT.
