PBC on Spike Weigh-in Results: Dirrells, Foes On Point
Premier Boxing Champions returns to Spike TV on Friday
as another edition of PBC on Spike comes live from the Trump Taj
Mahal in Atlantic City, N.J. Headlining the card is a dual main
event between brothers Andre and Anthony Dirrell competing in
separate bouts at super middleweight.
Andre Dirrell (24-2, 16 KOs) will square off against Blake Caparello in a 10-rounder in the main slot and at Thursday’s weigh-ins, both combatants made the 168-pound limit. Caparello (22-1-1, 6 KOs) tipped the scale at 167 pounds while Dirrell came in two pounds heavier at 169.
Anthony Dirrell (28-1-1, 22 KOs) clocked in at 168.8 pounds for his 10-round tussle with Caleb Truax (26-2-2, 16 KOs), who checked in officially at 168.6.
Spike will televise the action starting at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT with a junior featherweight battle between Jonathan Guzman and Daniel Rosas.
