Photos: Strikeforce Fighters Appear on CBS’s 'NCIS: L.A.' Tuesday

Strikeforce lightweight champion Gilbert Melendez, former titleholders Josh Thomson and Cung Le, as well as Dan Henderson, Karl James Noons, and Frank Shamrock will all guest-star on Tuesday’s episode of “NCIS: Los Angeles” at 9:00 p.m. EST/PST on CBS.

CBS will air its second Strikeforce event on “Saturday Night Fights” live on April 17 from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tenn., starting at 9:00 p.m. EST/PST.

“NCIS: Los Angeles” stars Chris O’Donnell and L.L. Cool J as agents with the Navy’s crime investigative service. In this episode, Cool J goes undercover as an MMA fighter to investigate the death of a Marine tied to the sport.

In the episode, Cool J infiltrates a fighters’ camp, then enters the cage against Eric Christian Olsen (“Fired Up!” “Dumb and Dumberer.”) in a bout officiated by referee “Big” John McCarthy.
