On Oct. 28, 2010, Bellator Fighting Championship -- now Bellator MMA -- was at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, for Bellator 34.

In the main event, Hector Lombard defended his middleweight title as he beat Alexander Shlemenko by decision. The card also served as the women’s strawweight tournament final, where Zoila Frausto edged out Megumi Fujii by split-decision. The tournament featured the likes of Ultimate Fighting Championship’s inaugural strawweight champion, Carla Esparza, as well as Jessica Aguilar and Jessica Penne.
