In a lackluster affair, Tim Boetsch
returned to the Octagon with a unanimous decision victory over
debutant Todd Brown at
UFC
117.
Boetsch (12-3), fresh off three consecutive wins outside the UFC, wobbled Brown with a right hand in the opening stanza and scored two takedowns in the final frame after dropping round two on the Sherdog.com virtual scorecard. Brown dropped to 11-2 (1 NC) with the loss, his first in more than three years.
The official scores were 29-28 across the board.
