UFC 167 Tickets Averaging $580, ‘Most In-Demand UFC Event in History’
How big is this weekend’s UFC 167 card at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas? Well, according to the seat geeks over at SeatGeek.com, it’s the toughest ticket to come by in the history of the Octagon:
At an average ticket price of $580 per ticket, UFC 167 is the most in-demand UFC event in history. Prices on the secondary market are nearly double what they were for UFC 166 in Houston last month, which drew an average resale price of $302 per ticket.
The cheapest tickets available for UFC 167 right now are listed at $299 per ticket for seats in the corner of the 200-level at the MGM Grand, but we’ve seen people pay as much as $2,800 per ticket for floor seats next to the cage.
Before UFC 167, UFC 137 (Penn vs. Diaz) at Mandalay Bay had been the most expensive ticket in UFC history, having drawn an average resale price of $578 per ticket.
Why do you think people are clamoring for tickets to see Georges St. Pierre defend his welterweight title against Johny Hendricks?
