On a day in which Chad Mendes
was able to take out the very tough and durable Ricardo
Lamas, a fighter had to go bleep crazy on the crowd and
overshadow everything else that happened at
UFC Fight Night “Mendes vs. Lamas.”
Everyone has an opinion about Al Iaquinta’s post-fight actions; some loved it, and some -- myself included -- hated it. When you are a professional athlete, you cannot let moments like that overtake you. I know Iaquinta is young and will learn from this, but it was an ugly point of the night -- even uglier than the scorecards from his fight with Jorge Masvidal.
Another burning question: will Mendes get another shot at Jose Aldo if Aldo comes out on top over Conor McGregor?
