"Hearing all the incredible things you're doing on the frontlines of New York City," White said "You're awesome, kid! I have so much respect for not just you, but everybody who is part of the first responders and medical staff that are taking care of everybody and putting yourself in harm’s way to help others.
“You were a stud on ‘TUF’ and apparently you’re still kicking ass, my friend. Thank you so much for all you’re doing, for everybody.”
Nover, who was dubbed by White as “the next Anderson Silva” on Season 8 of “The Ultimate Fighter,” last competed in MMA in February 2017, when he lost a split decision to Rick Glenn at UFC 208. The 36-year-old went 11-8-1 over the course of his professional career.
