Longshots have a storied past in the Ultimate Fighting Championship, and Julianna Pena would like nothing more than to provide additional hope for future generations of underdogs.

“The Venezuelan Vixen” will test her wits and mitts against an all-time great when she challenges Amanda Nunes for the undisputed women’s bantamweight crown in the UFC 269 co-headliner on Saturday at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Pena has rattled off six victories in eight appearances since she linked arms with the promotion as “The Ultimate Fighter” Season 18 winner in 2013. The Sikjitsu rep last competed at UFC 257, where she submitted Sara McMann with a rear-naked choke in the third round of their Jan. 23 pairing. Nunes, meanwhile, finds herself in the midst of a historic run as a simultaneous two-division titleholder at 135 and 145 pounds. She last fought on March 6, when she submitted Megan Anderson with a reverse triangle armbar and retained her featherweight championship in the first round of their UFC 259 encounter.

As Pena and Nunes make final preparations for their forthcoming clash, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

33: Years of age for Nunes, who was born on May 30, 1988 in Pojuca, Brazil.
