By The Numbers: Marian Ziolkowski vs. Salahdine Parnasse
Marian Ziolkowski will unify the Konfrontacja Sztuk Walki lightweight championship when he defends his piece of the crown against interim titleholder Salahdine Parnasse in the KSW 83 co-headliner on Saturday at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw, Poland. Room only exists for one atop the promotion’s 155-pound mountain.
Ziolkowski enters the cage on the strength of a four-fight winning streak. The WCA Fight Team product last competed on June 18, when he outpointed Sebastian Rajewski to a five-round unanimous decision in their KSW 71 pairing. Parnasse, meanwhile, has also rattled off four straight victories. The Atch Academy export last fought at KSW 76, where he submitted the aforementioned Rajewski with a rear-naked choke in the fourth round of their Nov. 12 encounter.
