The Octagon touches down in Uruguay for the first time in promotional history for UFC Fight Night 156.
In the main event, Valentina Shevchenko looks to defend her flyweight title against Liz Carmouche in a rematch of their bout nine years ago. In the first one, it was the American who won by doctor stoppage. The champ is coming off of a knockout win over Jessica Eye, while “Girl-illa” is coming off of a decision win over Lucie Pudilova.
The co-main event sees two fan favorites collide as Vicente Luque looks to extend his winning streak to six while Perry looks to make it two in a row.
