Two of the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s premiere heavyweights have been summoned to the Octagon to headline UFC on ESPN 11 this Saturday at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. There, Curtis Blaydes and Alexander Volkov will tangle in an effort to remain in title contention while the Daniel Cormier-Stipe Miocic trilogy plays out.

Volkov, 31, has rattled off seven wins in eight outings, a Hail Mary knockout loss to Derrick Lewis the lone outlier. The former Bellator MMA champion last competed at UFC Fight Night 163 in November, when he took a three-round unanimous decision from American Top Team’s Greg Hardy. Volkov, who stands 6-foot-7, sports 23 finishes among his 31 professional victories.
UFC on ESPN 11 “Blaydes vs. Volkov”—which airs live on ESPN at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT—will also feature a featherweight co-main event matching Josh Emmett with Shane Burgos, a women’s bantamweight clash pitting Raquel Pennington against Marion Reneau, a welterweight scrap pairing Belal Muhammad with Lyman Good and a 160-pound catchweight affair slotting Jim Miller opposite Roosevelt Roberts. ESPN will also provide coverage of the entire seven-fight undercard at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.
