Jessica Andrade Wins in Round 2 (+800)
The UFC 237 main event was a stunner, as Andrade survived a first-round knockdown against Rose Namajunas to turn around her fortunes in the second, where she won the women’s strawweight title with a vicious slam knockout. Such finishes are rare at the highest level of the sport and even more so at 115 pounds. The prop on Andrade winning the fight by TKO scored at +300, but even better was her winning in the second round, with that prop hitting at +800.
Viviane Araujo Wins in Round 3 (+2425)
UFC 237 started with a bang courtesy of a brutal knockout from Araujo, who finished Talita Bernardo in the third round to give the Brazilian fans something about which to cheer. Araujo took the fight on short notice and moved up a weight class, but she did not let circumstances deter her and picked up a memorable win in her UFC debut. The prop on Araujo winning by knockout hit at +1275, and the prop on her winning in the third round scored a whopping +2425.
Warlley Alves Wins in Round 3 (+1475)
One of the best finishes of the event resulted from an Alves uppercut that knocked out Sergio Moraes in the third round of their welterweight prelim. The fight was competitive up to that point, but Alves left no doubt about the identity of the better man and absolutely obliterated Moraes, once again showing some of the potential that won him Season 3 of “The Ultimate Fighter Brazil” five years ago. The prop on Alves winning by TKO hit at +426, but even better was the prop on his winning in the third round, which scored at +1475.
Irene Aldana Wins in Round 3 (+1250)
In a women’s bantamweight feature, Aldana took the judges out of the equation and submitted Bethe Correia with a third-round armbar. This bout was contentious and contested primarily on the feet up until the finish. When Correia shot for an ill-advised takedown, Aldana managed to capitalize and positioned herself for the impressive submission. The prop on Aldana winning by submission hit at +1225, and the prop on her winning in the third round cashed at +1250.
Raoni Barcelos Wins in Round 2 (+900)
Finally, Barcelos exploited a mismatch and beat up short-notice replacement Carlos Huachin for nearly two full rounds before the referee decided to call a stop to the fight. Barcelos has one of the best ground games in the bantamweight division, and the win over Hauchin improved his UFC record to a perfect 3-0, with all three victories resulting in finishes. The prop on Barcelos winning in the second round scored at +900.
