The Walkmen: UFC 191 Walkout Songs
Ultimate Fighting Championship flyweight titleholder Demetrious Johnson’s unanimous decision victory over John Dodson in the UFC 191 main event on Saturday at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas was consistent with both the fight history of “Mighty Mouse” and his past walkout-song preferences.

Meanwhile, former UFC heavyweight champions Andrei Arlovski and Frank Mir embody the title of the Belarusian’s walkout track, Eminem’s “Soldier.” The two veterans battled it out in the co-main event, with Arlovski emerging with a unanimous decision. Arlovski and Mir spent much of their time in the clinch but traded on occasion and even found their way onto the mat.

Elsewhere, one moment of opportunity was all light heavyweight contender Anthony Johnson needed against Jimi Manuwa. “Moment,” by Lil’ Wayne and Young Money rang out across the arena, as “Rumble” made his way to the Octagon; and the moment his right hand connected on Manuwa’s jaw in the second round, the fight was over. Johnson rebounded from his UFC 187 submission loss to current light heavyweight champion Daniel Cormier and reminded the MMA universe that he remains one of the hardest hitters in the sport.
Finally, UFC women’s strawweight contender and Team Alpha Male prospect Paige VanZant may have tried to sneak some subliminal messaging into the ear of Alex Chambers, as the sounds of Peaches’ “Hit it Hard” preceded Chambers’ arrival in the cage. VanZant, 21, hit the Australian hard and often, as she pushed a ridiculous pace and abused Chambers with knees to the body from the clinch before submitting her with an armbar. The performance continued VanZant on her path toward the top of the 115-pound division.
Other notable walkout songs included Tupac’s “Can’t See Me,” which played prior to Francisco Rivera’s submission loss to John Lineker; P. Diddy and the Notorious B.I.G.’s “Victory,” which played ahead of Manuwa’s knockout defeat to Johnson; and “Shipping up to Boston,” by Dropkick Murphy’s, which played prior to former Cage Fury Fighting Championships titleholder Paul Felder’s split decision loss to Ross Pearson.
