Strikeforce on Wednesday made official the five-bout main card for Strikeforce Challengers 16, which takes place June 24 at ShoWare Center in Kent, Wash.
As expected, the Showtime-televised event will be headlined by a lightweight confrontation pitting Caros Fodor against James Terry. A light heavyweight matchup between rising talents Lorenz Larkin and Gian Villante will also be featured, as well as a 145-pound women’s bout between strikers Germaine de Randamie and Julia Budd.

Representing Matt Hume’s AMC Pankration, Fodor has been perfect in his Strikeforce career to date. The “Future” debuted with the promotion in July, outpointing Ousmane Thomas Diagne before submitting Derek Getzel with a brabo choke in November. Most recently, the 26-year-old dealt fellow prospect David Douglas a third-round TKO defeat on April 1.
Terry also rides a three-fight win streak into the bout. The Californian holds a 5-1 record in Strikeforce competition, losing only to Tarec Saffiedine since joining the promotion in 2009. Terry has put together a successful 2011 thus far, knocking out Lucas Gamaza in January and doing the same on April 1 to Josh Thornburg.
