Cage Warriors 113 card has run into some issues due to travel
complications caused by the coronavirus outbreak throughout the
world.
As a result, three bouts have been removed from Friday’s card, including an interim featherweight title tilt between Morgan Charriere and Darko Banovic and a flyweight championship clash pitting Samir Faiddine against Luke Shanks. Additionally, a UFC London-transferred bout between John Phillips and Dusko Todorovic has also been scrapped.
As a result, a middleweight showdown between Darren Stewart and Bartosz Fabinski — also moved from UFC London — will serve as the Cage Warriors 113 headliner, while Mason Jason and Joe McColgan will square off for the lightweight crown in the co-main event. All other bouts are expected to proceed as scheduled.
“We will continue to adapt to changes as they arise, and continue to strive toward providing the biggest and best platform possible for our fighters and fans this Friday night,” Cage Warriors president Graham Boylan said. “As long as the country remains operational, so do we.”
Cage Warriors 113 takes place behind closed doors at BEC Arena in Manchester, England. The main card airs on UFC Fight Pass at 5 p.m. ET/2 p.m. PT.
