EA Sports: Game Will Be 'Global Experience'
Loretta Hunt Dec 2, 2009
An international cast of fighters that includes Fedor
Emelianenko, Randy
Couture and Gegard
Mousasi. The Strikeforce brand, cage, and commentary team.
These are a couple of elements that EA Sports has promised in its
EA Sports MMA video game, due out in 2010.
"I see the market right now is expanding rapidly for MMA with Strikeforce on CBS. I think there's great opportunities with their Showtime partnership," said EA Sports MMA Executive Producer Dale Jackson. "Things are just booming for MMA as a whole right now and I think that people are starved for great products in this space."
Jackson discusses how these latest announcements will translate into the final version and reveals what the company is still considering as additions to the game before its release.
