Jack Marshman to Face Markus Perez at UFC Fight Night 164 in Sao Paulo

A middleweight scrap pitting Jack Marshman against Markus Perez has been added to the UFC Fight Night 164 lineup.

Brazilian outlet Combate was first to report the matchup. UFC Fight Night 164 takes place at Ibirapuera Gymnasium in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Nov. 16 and is headlined by a light heavyweight showdown between Jan Blachowicz and Ronaldo Souza. The card will air on ESPN+.

A former Cage Warriors titlist, Marshman is 3-4 thus far in his tenure with the Las Vegas-based promotion. He last appeared at UFC 239, where he was submitted in the opening round by Edmen Shahbazyan on July 6.

Perez, meanwhile, is 2-2 in the Octagon after beginning his professional career with 10 straight victories. The former Legacy Fighting Alliance champion is coming off a second-round submission victory against Anthony Hernandez at UFC Fight Night 144.
