Professional Fighters League lightweight queen Kayla Harrison made a statement in the main event of PFL 6 and secure the No. 2 seed in the women's lightweight playoffs.
The final fight of the evening saw Harrison (14-0) run through opponent Kaitlin Young, although the stoppage was more than questionable. Harrison quickly took Young (12-13-1) to the ground and was in full control as she rained down punches against the cage. However, at no point was Young in danger of going out or not defending herself, so the stoppage at 2:35 by referee Rob Hinds was premature in nature. Regardless, Harrison picked up six points in a fight where the skill difference was clear and will advance to the playoffs.

Ray Cooper III triumphantly claimed his last name by dominating Brett Cooper. "Bradda Boy" came out swinging and immediately unloaded several hooks that clipped Cooper (28-17). The violence kept coming as Cooper III (25-8-1) unleashed several knees and then landed accurate ground-and-pound that forced a stoppage at just 24 seconds into the first round. Due to losing a point after missing weight in his first fight, Cooper III finishes the season with five points.
In welterweight action, Magomed Magomedkerimov and Dilano Taylor clashed over three rounds. Magomedkerimov (29-6) controlled the fight at range and peppered away at Taylor (9-2) with kicks and well-timed jabs. Poor defense by Taylor allowed Magomedkerimov to repeatedly land overhand right hands that rocked Taylor, who was eventually ruled out on his feet after taking a beating. The fight was stopped at 3:26 of Round 2, which gave Magomedkerimov five points and eliminated Cooper III from getting into the playoffs.
Larissa Pacheco walked through Genah Fabian to secure another six points and the No. 1 spot in the women's lightweight standings. Pacheco (17-4) was able to hurt Fabian (5-3) on the feet and then secured a takedown. After giving up on an arm-triangle choke, Pacheco decided to rain down punches from mount position and received a TKO stoppage as a result. The finish came at 2:39 of the first frame.
The main card opened with a welterweight bout between Jarrah Al-Silawi and Magomed Umalatov. While the fight started slow, Umalatov (12-0) would pick up a quick six points with a gorgeous knockout. A short back fist from Umalatov rocked Al-Silawi (18-4), who was then put away with a huge overhand right. Al-Silawi was separated from his consciousness at the 3:33 mark of Round 1.
In preliminary action, Marina Mokhnatkina (7-3) took a debated split decision over Abigail Montes (3-2) with two of the three 30-27 scorecards being in her favor; Martina Jindrova (6-2) dispatched an overmatched Zamzagul Fayzallanova (7-3) with punches 4:04 into Round 1; and Helena Kolesnyk (7-4, 1 NC) defeated Vanessa Melo (11-10) via unanimous decision (30-27, 30-27, 30-27) in the night's opening bout.
