German lightweight Nick Hein will make his UFC debut against Drew Dober when the promotion travels to Berlin on May 31.
The UFC announced the matchup on Friday. The UFC’s return to Germany takes place at the O2 World in Berlin and is headlined by a middleweight showdown between Gegard Mousasi and Mark Munoz.
Hein has been victorious in 10 of his 12 professional outings, most recently taking a unanimous decision against Michael Erdinc at the Fair Fighting Championship in February. The 29-year-old Clube Do Leao representative has finished four of his triumphs by decision, one by TKO and five via decision.
Dober, meanwhile, had a five-fight winning streak halted in his first appearance with the Las Vegas-based promotion, as he dropped a three-round verdict to Sean Spencer at the “TUF 18” finale last November. The 25-year-old Nebraskan has finished 10 of his 14 wins by knockout, technical knockout or submission.
