Paige VanZant Posts Gruesome Image of Arm Following Second Surgery
Ultimate Fighting Championship strawweight contender Paige VanZant won’t be fighting again anytime soon, after a second arm surgery that required 18 massive stitches nearly all the way down her entire right forearm.
Vanzant (7-4) posted a picture of the aftermath to her Instagram on Friday, revealing a grotesque incision following a second surgery on her arm:
“So, do you think there’s gunna be a scar?” she wrote in the post’s caption.
The 24-year-old last fought back in January, losing her flyweight debut against Jessica-Rose Clark and breaking her arm during the fight. Vanzant just recently underwent a breast augmentation surgery in May, followed by the second arm procedure after the first surgery “failed” and required a follow up operation to correct it.
