UFC on ESPN 8 Salaries: Alistair Overeem Earns Event-High $400,000 Payday

The Dutch veteran earned an event-high $400,000 purse for his second-round technical knockout of Walt Harris in the UFC on ESPN 8 headliner at VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in Jacksonville, Florida, on Saturday night. Harris pocketed $75,000 in defeat.
The Florida State Boxing Commission released salaries from the
event to Sherdog.com on Monday.
Claudia Gadelha ($108,000), who took a split decision over Angela Hill ($54,000), and Krzysztof Jotko ($108,000), who defeated Eryk Anders ($61,000) via unanimous decision, were the next highest earners on the card. Dan Ige ($100,000) and Cortney Casey ($100,000) also garnered six-figure paydays.
