UFC on Fox 5 Update: Means-Trujillo, Martinez-Cruickshank Moved from UFC 151
The cancellation of UFC 151 has resulted in a pair of lightweight bouts being transplanted to UFC on Fox 5.
Bouts pitting Tim Means against Abel Trujillo and Henry Martinez against Daron Cruickshank have been moved to the Dec. 8 event at Seattle’s KeyArena, according to a recent announcement from promotion officials. The show will be topped by a lightweight title headliner between champion Benson Henderson and challenger Nate Diaz.

Trujillo rides a four-fight winning streak into his Octagon debut against Means. “Killa” has already competed thrice this year, most recently posting a unanimous decision win over Bellator vet Frank Carrillo on June 30.
Martinez has won five of his last six fights, most recently taking a split decision from Magalhaes on June 8. Prior to that UFC on FX 3 triumph, the Jackson’s MMA rep dropped a split nod to welterweight Matt Riddle on Feb. 4, stepping in as a short-notice injury replacement at UFC 143.
Cruickshank introduced himself to UFC fans during the 15th season of “The Ultimate Fighter,” taking a unanimous decision from game cast mate Chris Tickle at the June 1 finale. That victory served as the fifth straight win for “The International Superstar,” as Cruickshank earned victories over Tiawan Howard, Brad Cardinal, Mike Ricci and Jesse Gross to close out last year.
