“Drastic times call for drastic measures,” Covington wrote. “How am I suppose to eat if everyone is ducking me?”
Covington currently does not have a fight booked, but he has recently made it clear that he would be more than willing to welcome ex-lightweight king Rafael dos Anjos to 170 pounds.
Yo chump @RdosAnjosMMA all the top ranked welterweights are booked or hurt. Call uncle dana for me when you ready for #retirement

Covington last appeared at UFC on Fox 22, where he garnered a unanimous decision against Bryan Barberena on Dec. 17. The American Top Team product has won three straight fights in the Octagon and is 6-1 during his promotional tenure overall (Vegas odds).
