(PRESS RELEASE) -- Rancho Cucamonga, CA. King of the Cage sells out
back to back shows at both Coeur D’Alene Casino in Idaho and the
Sunshine Theater in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Worley, Idaho - KOTC sold out early for another show on June 13 at the Coeur D’Alene Casino. The main event was a highly anticipated re- match between long running World Champion Tony Lopez and International star Trevor Prangley. Prangley rushed the pace forcing a furious 2 round fight that ended with Tony Lopez making a mistake and Trevor Prangley capitalizing to get the submission win, late in round two. The crowd went into a frenzy as their local hero Prangley retained his world title in a bout that was determined by both fighters would not ultimately go to the judges’ score cards.
Albuquerque, NM – On June 22, KOTC sold out early and hosts a spectacular main event where Cody East was able to take down Nick Rossborough in an impressive 25 minute war. East dropped Rossborough on 2 occasions before bringing the belt home to his suburban area of Albuquerque in Los Lunas.
Both shows were early sell outs and both main events were spectacular, prompting casino management from multiple casinos in the New Mexico market to make a bid for future KOTC events at their properties in New Mexico. Rumors have it that KOTC will have one or more of these casinos inked with 3 to 4 fight deal for the next three years shortly.
