Laguna Beach Books to host ‘UNCAGED’ Book Signing and Fight Technique Seminar with Frank Shamrock Oct. 27

(PRESS RELEASE) -- Los Angeles, CA – October 23, 2012: Laguna Beach Books will be hosting a book signing for Uncaged: My Life as a Champion MMA Fighter in conjunction with a mini-seminar/fight technique demonstration with MMA Legend and ‘Uncaged’ author Frank Shamrock. The cost to attend the book signing event is $30 per person and will include a copy of Shamrock’s autobiography Uncaged. A portion of the proceeds will be donated to the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach. Space is limited to 40 fans for the mini-seminar. The event will take place Saturday, October 27 at Optimus Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, located at 31151 Niguel Road in Laguna Niguel, California.

Laguna Beach Books has partnered with Optimus Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu to host the event featuring author and world champion MMA fighter, Frank Shamrock. Shamrock’s new Autobiography Uncaged: My Life as a Champion MMA Fighter (Chicago Review Press) written with Charles Fleming, is the remarkable and riveting story of Mixed Martial Arts Legend Frank Shamrock. Readers embark on an inspirational journey, as Shamrock personally guides them through the depths of his memories, sharing intimate details of his turbulent path from a troubled juvenile to a respected sports Legend.

Shamrock will hold a demonstration of fighting techniques for limited number of lucky fans in conjunction with the Laguna Beach Books ‘Uncaged’ signing. The first forty fans to arrive will be invited to attend. Please note that this is a ticketing signing only. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Laguna Beach. Prior to book signing Shamrock will speak about his book and answer questions.

On Saturday, October 27 fans can begin lining up at Optimus Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, located at 31151 Niguel Road in Laguna Niguel, CA at 10:30 am. The mini-seminar/fight technique demonstration will begin at 11:00 am. The Uncaged: My Life as a Champion MMA Fighter book signing will begin at 12:30 pm. Space is limited so we recommend that fans purchase their tickets early. Outside of the cage Shamrock has become one of MMA’s most recognized television personalities and can be seen regularly on Showtime Sports as a color commentator. Shamrock’s Uncaged: My Life as a Champion MMA Fighter book tour recently kicked off in California and will include additional signings across the country.
