W1 'Inception' Update
Mar 20, 2009
(PRESS RELEASE) -- One week to go and W1: INCEPTION is poised to be
the leading event in Gatineau/Ottawa history. Already over 3000
tickets sold, the event will be a massive success with an exciting
night of top level Mixed Martial Arts bouts. W1: INCEPTION is
headlined by the first Canadian UFC Champion CARLOS ‘THE RONIN’
NEWTON facing one of the country’s top welterweights, Ottawa’s own
NABIL ‘THE THRILL’ KHATIB.
One of Ottawa’s beloved MMA fighters, CRAIG ‘FARMER’ BROWN has had multiple opponents pull out but he is now ready to face DEAN ‘THE MACHINE’ MARTINS representing the Iroquois MMA Fight Team. For years, Brown has entertained fans with his exciting style and charismatic personality and he will put it all on the line against Martins.
Another fighter who is willing to fight anyone, is the undefeated
former CFL and WWE superstar GLENN ‘THE KULKSTER’ KULKA. Stepping
up to the Kulkster’s challenge is Montreal native, HOSIER BRUNO.
Bruno is coming off a huge KO win against Kulka’s original
opponent, Bob Landry. A world class striker, Bruno is definitely
the toughest challenge of Kulka’s career as he has KO power in his
hands, knees and feet.
