“Our team of ambassadors understands and shares XYIENCE’s brand
philosophy,” says John
Lennon, XYIENCE’s president. “Over the years, they have come to
the table with unique and creative ideas and have become ingrained
in the XYIENCE family. They also share a great chemistry that
translates to success at special events for our consumers.”
XYIENCE Xenergy also recently extended its sponsorship deal with the UFC, which means that its logo will be positioned inside the Octagon during select Pay-Per-View broadcasts along with other sponsor benefits. Shortly after extending its sponsorship contract with the UFC, the XYIENCE Xenergy logo appeared on the mat of the Octagon during UFC® 156: Aldo vs. Edgar, a sold out Pay-Per-View event on Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, held at Mandalay Bay in Las Vegas.
Dan Hardy first joined the XYIENCE team in 2010. He is a native of Nottingham, England, who began studying Tae Kwon Do at the age of 6 and went on to earn his first-degree black belt. With 14 years of traditional martial arts training, the charismatic Hardy then decided to cross-train in other styles, including Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, for which he earned his purple belt under the famed practitioner and coach Eddie Bravo.
Signing with the UFC in 2008, Hardy walked away victorious from his first three UFC matches and quickly became a star in the welterweight division. He earned the distinction as the first British fighter to challenge a UFC title in his 2010 match against George St. Pierre.
A huge fan favorite for his high energy and devastating striking abilities inside the cage, his pursuits outside the octagon have also earned Hardy much deserved recognition. In addition to his work as an artist and his love of classical cars, video games, and hardcore and punk music, Hardy has received awards for his work as a vocal animal welfare activist. Hardy and his fiancée, Elizabeth, split time between his hometown of Nottingham, England, and Las Vegas.
Matt Serra
A part of Team XYIENCE since 2009, former UFC welterweight champion Matt “The Terror” Serra may be best known for his success inside the octagon, but the East Meadow, New York, native is also an accomplished businessman, coach, mentor and family man.
Serra won several titles early in his professional career, but it was his impressive second-place finish in 2000 at the prestigious ADCC Submission Wrestling World Championships that garnered the attention of the UFC and led to the offer of a contract. He has gone on to earn several honors as a UFC competitor, including the Welterweight Champion in Season 4 of The Ultimate Fighter and UFC Welterweight Champion for his impressive TKO of Georges St. Pierre, a fight many consider to be one of the biggest upsets in MMA history.
When not fighting in the octagon, Serra and his brother, Nick, run two Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu schools in their home state of New York. Serra believes in giving back to the MMA community by investing in up-and-coming fighters, following the example set by his long-time kickboxing coach Ray Longo. Serra trained with the striking expert for nearly 20 years and credits much of his success to their many hours together.
A loving family man; he and his wife Ann have two beautiful daughters who are the pride of Serra’s life.

While continuously working to reach his own goals as an athlete, he is also committed to helping others reach new levels of health and athleticism. In fact, it’s a mission that is quickly becoming his life’s work.
Today, he partners with athletes from a wide range of sports using his expertly designed KSOS Training System—a training and nutrition plan he created for professional and amateur athletes. Recently, Soszyński signed another deal with the UFC to be an MMA, kickboxing and strength and conditioning coach as well as a personal trainer at the UFC Gym located in the Los Angeles area.
A native of Poland, Soszyński moved to Canada with his family at the age of 10. A natural athlete, the once professional wrestler went on to play football and soccer at Maples Collegiate and then earned a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.
A former Los Angeles Anaconda (IFL) team member, the mixed martial artist signed with the UFC after appearing on Season 8 of the reality television series “The Ultimate Fighter.” Victorious in his UFC debut against Shane Primm, whom he defeated by kimura, Soszyński was awarded Submission of the Night.
