Carl Booth Targets Rubber Match with Jarrah Al-Silawi Following Brave CF 38
Carl Booth feels ready to make history in the Brave Combat Federation once again. "The Bomber” (9-3) was a participant in the promotion’s first welterweight title fight, but things didn't go according to plan and he dropped a decision to Carlston Lindsay Harris at Brave CF 8. He learned a lot that night and managed to bounce back on the trail, and now rides a two-bout winning streak after smashing Dino Bagattin and dominating Hayder Hassan in his latest cage appearances.
In an interview with Sherdog, Booth revealed that in case of victory against Abdoul Abdouraguimov (10-1), he is going to ask Jarrah Hussein Al-Silawi (13-3) to end their trilogy in a title fight with Al-Silawi's belt on the line. Booth defeated "The Jordanian Lion" in violent fashion at CWFC “Fight Night 10” back in March 2014, but Al-Silawi evened the score after dominating Booth at Brave CF 9.
"All week, I've heard the name Jarrah Al-Silawi. So I believe that getting Abdoul out of the way quickly and in vicious fashion, puts me right up there, ready to challenge," said Booth, confessing that there is some bad blood between him and the current champion. "There seems to be a bit (of bad blood) on social media, at least. He's got a thing about bear emojis. I don't know what his game is, it's a bit childish for me. But when we were backstage, face to face, he was like a little boy. There was no bad blood there, you know what I mean? It was all handshakes and smiley faces. Then he gets behind the keyboard and becomes brave, so I don't know (his deal)."
