Sherdog Brazilian correspondent Marcelo Alonso caught up with MMA Masters head coaches Cesar Carneiro and Daniel Valverde to discuss the upcoming main event at UFC 272.

“It’s really personal. Besides all tactical, technical and physical training we are working a lot Colby’s mind for that fight” explained Valverde while discussing his charge, Colby Covington.

Carneiro has no doubts and is betting on a finish: “He is really motivated to finish Masvidal.”

The Brazilian trainers also revealed Covington’s desire to face Dustin Poirier and Amanda Nunes’ exit from American Top Team.
