Jacob Rosales is not a fighter lacking for confidence, and that mindset has remained unchanged as he heads into his LFA 87 lightweight title bout against Bryce Logan, since he believes the overwhelming advantages he has in skills and technique make it a matchup that leans heavily in his favor.
“Everything I have is an advantage,” Rosales told Sherdog. “If I wanted to be in the pocket with him, I’m going to beat him up in the pocket. If I want to stay long, I’m going to stay long, sniper him and pick him apart. I don’t see a problem at all and that’s just how I view it. He’s going to be really frustrated with the way I fight, and he’s just going to fold.”
Along with discussing his title opportunity on Friday night at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, Rosales also spoke on how meaningful it would be to win Legacy Fighting Alliance gold. In addition, he explained the learning experience that came from his appearance last Summer on Dana White’s Contender Series and the origin of his “Lil Badger” nickname.
