Mochamed Machaev Aiming to Become a Two-Division Titleholder after Brave CF 40
Mochamed Machaev has big plans for his future in Brave Combat Federation. As Sherdog previously revealed, the up-and-coming Austrian fighter Machaev (9-0) is taking on Shoaib Yousaf (7-1) in the main event of Brave CF 40, which will take place on Aug. 24.
Just three weeks ago, "The Beast" stepped into the cage and put on a surgical striking clinic on RXF veteran Ciprian Maris at Brave CF 36 before the doctor halted the bout at the end of Round 2. Prior, Machaev made a statement in his promotional debut by taking a unanimous decision over Matjaz Vicar at Brave CF 34 in January.
While speaking with Sherdog, Machaev revealed that he feels ready to take his career to the next level and join the short-list of fighters who have become a two-division champion in the Bahraini promotion. The 20-year old aims to win first the belt in the 145-pound division before dropping down a weight class and challenge current bantamweight titleholder, Stephen Loman.
