PBC on NBC Weigh-in Results: All Main Card Fighters Make Weight
Former WBO middleweight champion Peter “Kid Chocolate” is halfway
to the super middleweight division. His first stop will be against
Michael Zerafa at a 163-pound catch weight battle on Saturday
afternoon as the main of the next PBC on NBC card.
Both fighters made weight on Friday afternoon, officially giving the green light to their showdown, which will be held inside the Foxwoods Resort in Connecticut. Zerafa (17-1, 9 KOs) was the first to weigh in and he came in right on the money at 163 pounds. Quillin (31-0-1, 22 KOs), who lost his WBO 160-pound title on the scales in April, clocked in at 160 pounds.
The co-featured fighters were both on point as well. IBF junior middleweight champion Cornelius “K9” Bundrage (34-5, 19 KOs) is ready to make the second defense of his title. He easily made weight, coming in at 153 pounds. Jermall Charlo (21-0, 16 KOs) is making the most of his first world championship bid as he matched champion ounce for ounce; he also tipped the scale at 153 pounds.
The event will be televised live on NBC starting at 4 p.m. ET/1 p.m. PT.
