Report: Zab Judah, Joseph Agbeko Highlight Nov. 13 Card in Las Vegas
According to a report by BoxingScene.com, former multi-division
world champion Zab Judah will return to action on Nov. 13 at the D
Hotel in downtown Las Vegas. The event is slated to be televised by
CBS Sports Network, though an opponent has yet to be named.
Judah (42-9, 29 KOs), who hasn’t fought since losing a 12-round unanimous decision to Paulie Malignaggi in December 2013, was scheduled to fight Hevinson Herrera in September. But after the two got into a scuffle at the weigh-ins, Herrera claimed an injury and withdrew from the contest.
Also set to appear on the card is Joseph Agbeko (30-5, 23 KOs), who last fought in May where he took out Juanito Rubillar in the fourth. Agbeko was also penciled in to fight on an Oct. 17 card at Sam’s Town Hotel and Gambling Hall in Las Vegas, but that event was cancelled a few weeks ago.
Ava Knight (13-2-3, 5 KOs) and Jesus “Chuy” Gutierrez (14-0-1, 4 KOs) are also reported to be appearing on the card but, like Agbeko, no opponents have been named.
