Weili Zhang wants that which was once hers.

“Magnum” will challenge Rose Namajunas for the undisputed Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s strawweight title when the two women rematch each other in the UFC 268 co-feature on Saturday at Madison Square Garden in New York. Zhang boasts a stellar 5-1 mark inside the Octagon. She surrendered the 115-pound crown in a knockout loss to Namajunas at UFC 261 on April 24, the setback snapping her remarkable 21-fight winning streak. Namajunas, meanwhile, enters the cage on the strength of back-to-back victories, having improved her UFC record to 8-3.

As Zhang and Namajunas make final preparations for their second encounter in a little more than six months, a look at some of the numbers that have accompanied them to this point:

29: Years of age for Namajunas, who was born in Milwaukee on June 29, 1992.

5: Namajunas victories by submission, accounting for 50% of her career total (10). Her methods of choice: four rear-naked chokes and one armbar. Namajunas owns two other victories by knockout or technical knockout and three more by decision.

0.47: Knockdowns landed by Namajunas per 15 minutes of UFC competition, placing her second on the promotion’s all-time list among strawweights. She trails only Hannah Cifers (0.54) in the category.

6: Post-fight bonuses banked by Namajunas across her 11 assignments in the UFC. She has been awarded “Performance of the Night” three times and “Fight of the Night” on three occasions, resulting in $300,000 of additional income.

.707: Cumulative winning percentage between the four women—Jessica Andrade, Karolina Kowalkiewicz, Carla Esparza and Tecia Torres—who have defeated Namajunas. They sport a combined record of 65-27.

32: Years of age for Zhang, who was born on Aug. 13, 1989 in Handan, China.

10: Zhang wins by knockout or technical knockout, accounting for 48% of her career total (21). Her list of victims includes the aforementioned Andrade, Karla Benitez and Emi Fujino. Zhang holds seven other wins by submission and four more by decision.

11: First-round finishes on the Zhang resume, three of the sub-minute variety. She submitted Mei Huang with a rear-naked choke in 40 seconds at a Chinese Kung Fu Championships event on Oct. 27, 2014, dispatched Nayara Hemily Cascardo with a guillotine choke in 41 seconds at a Kunlun Fight show on Feb. 25, 2017 and dismissed Andrade in 42 seconds under the UFC Fight Night 157 marquee on Aug. 31, 2019.

6.36: Strikes landed by Zhang per minute of UFC competition, the third-highest rate for a strawweight in UFC history. Only Andrade (6.88) and Joanna Jedrzejczyk (6.62) rank ahead of her.
