The Legacy Fighting Alliance on Friday promoted its final show on the AXS-TV network, and it did not disappoint. LFA 76 in Park City, Kansas, featured a plethora of rear-naked chokes, a few unbeaten prospects rising through the ranks with wins and the end of a 15-year legacy.

HAVE TV WILL TRAVEL: With AXS-TV, LFA traveled to 20 different states throughout 77 events in 32 months. The promotion put on 10 events in Prior Lake, Minnesota, while hosting nine in Dallas and seven in Phoenix.

LIGHTS, FIGHTS, ACTION!: Across these 77 events, LFA sported a finish rate of about 60.2 percent, several percentage points above the Ultimate Fighting Championship and World Series of Fighting-Professional Fighters League while on par with Bellator MMA.

END OF AN ERA: Over the past 15 years, AXS-TV, formerly known as HDNet, has broadcasted events from MMA, kickboxing and muay Thai organizations by the hundreds. Every LFA card was shown on the network, as well as many from promotions such as Strikeforce, Dream, International Fight League and Sengoku.

REAR-NAKED LUNCH: Three fighters at LFA 76 tapped to rear-naked chokes, tying five other events for the third-most submissions of that type at a single show. LFA 13 and LFA 40 had more, with four taking place on each of those cards.

LIGHTWEIGHT IS THE RIGHT WEIGHT: Nick Browne scored an upset and submitted Trey Ogden in the main event, securing a rear-naked choke finish in the opening stanza. His finish at 2:24 was the quickest of any lightweight headliner. Eighty percent of all lightweight fights at the top of LFA cards have ended by stoppage.

BUCKLEYED THE LEGS: Needing only 68 seconds to dispatch Chris Harris, Joaquin Buckley scored the sixth-fastest knockout in LFA middleweight history.

CANDYGRAM: In improving his record to 8-0, Thai Clark handed Josh Augustine his first professional loss when he beat him by unanimous decision. Six of “Landshark” Clark’s eight career wins have come on the scorecards.

WHO’S AFRAID OF THE BOOGEYMAN?: By tapping Corey Davis, Tyler Ingram advanced his young record to 4-0 with four stoppage victories. The “BoogeyMan” has never needed to go into the third round.

MARIGO’S MAJORITY: Steven Graham topped Johnny Marigo by majority decision, earning the seventh verdict of that kind in LFA history and the first in the bantamweight division. Although Kyle Estrada defeated Cody Freeman by majority decision and the bout was scheduled at 135 pounds, Freeman missed weight to turn it into a catchweight affair at LFA 73.

THE EARLY BIRD GETS THE FINISH: Jeff Molina hit Chance Wilson with a rear-naked choke in Round 1 of their preliminary card opener. With the win, over 45 percent of all first fights on LFA cards have ended in the opening round, far higher than the UFC’s card opener first-round stoppage rate of 34 percent.

NEVER SAY NEVER AGAIN: Coming into LFA 76, the promotion had never traveled to Kansas, Harris had never been knocked out (15 fights) and Davis (five fights) and Wilson (three fights) had never been submitted.
